What are you selling at Sew & Tell? Handmade Birdie Wings and Bags made by my mother.

Q. What is your craft / creative outlet of choice?
A. New creations from found natural objects

Q. Who is your craft idol?
A. Fiona Hall

Q. Who taught you to craft?
A. Self taught

Q. Who or what inspires you to be creative?
A. Women around me, nature and my son.

Q. Which talent would you most like to have?
A. Needle craft, like my partners Latvian grandmother.

Q. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A. Sitting on a small secluded beach with family while the kids surf and I weave objects found on the beach.

Q. What is your greatest fear?
A. My children wont recognise or use their talents.

Q. What is your current state of mind?
A. Very inspired - I have recently quit a corporate job to start my own creative business.

Q. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
A. Moving to the country to give my children a "slow" childhood.

Q. What is your most treasured possession?
A. My fathers passport and my 1960's sea-grass green vinyl sofa.

Q. Where is your ideal place to live?
A. Where I live in northern NSW

Q. Favourite holiday destination?
A. Levanto northern Italy - beach, architecture, great food and amazing gardens

Q. If money were no object, where would you take off to?
A. Morocco

Q. Can you tell us about your best vintage find?
A. My 1890's Scandinavian linen-press with a secret keyhole and shark tooth shelves

Q. What is your favourite thing to cook for your friends?
A. Coconut Calamari from Brunswick heads co-op cooked on an open fire out the back.

Q. What is your motto?
A. It's easier to wear slippers than to carpet the world.
